Volunteering & Staffing
It takes a lot of time and effort in order to run Animé Los Angeles. We appreciate everyone’s contribution of time and energy in bringing this convention together! In order to manage the requirements needed for this event we have two levels of volunteers (we’re all volunteers after all).
On-Site Volunteers who help fill in needed roles as they come up during Animé Los Angeles; and ALA Staff, who are recruited in advance of the convention to take on responsibilities which we must have set before hand.

Interested in Staffing?
This form is not an automatic enrollment for convention staff. If you are a returning staff member, please contact your department or division head directly.

Ribbon Services The Ribbon Services team, a subsection of the Ribbon Station, anticipates having a few staff openings. If you love ribbons, ribbon culture, and want to be a part of the ribbon magic, we want to hear from you! Our department interacts with a high volume of attendees daily, both new and experienced in ribbon collecting. Ribbon Services helps provide information to first timers, free activities in exchange for ribbons, and ribbon sewing services. We are looking for friendly people who are excited about ribbons and want to help make attendees excited about the convention’s unique culture. Knowing another language is a plus, but not required.
